The Coding Company identified a gap in the market for good quality clinical coder education for experienced and trainee coders. Many clinical coders were concerned that after graduating and entering the workforce there was little on offer to develop their skills outside of attending the HIMAA National Conference Coding Workshops or online edition updates. The TCC executive team and their senior Coding and Audit team decided to bridge the gap by providing a series of Webinars on the more complex aspects of clinical coding that clinical coders face including the standards to be applied, the ACH interventions and the technical aspects of those, and the disease processes around each of the disease entities outlined in the ICD 10 AM. Offered at a price that is not prohibitive for health services or individual clinical coders each session presented to date has been received with enthusiasm and good feedback from attendees.
Our expert presenters spend hours preparing the Webinars, researching the content, and making them as interesting and informative as possible. The Webinars are currently offered as live sessions via the Zoom platform and the presenters can answer questions, live and/or submit questions which will be answered after the Webinar. Case studies and information sheets are also provided. TCC has built up a library of Webinars which will be available for purchase later as non-live sessions for training purposes. TCC also offers a customised Webinar service for health services using their own case studies , operation reports and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to gather your coding team together as one for a training session.
